Everything exceeded high expectations and I had a really really nice stay during our quick business trip in Ubud. Everything was perfect, including gentle staff and tranquil location in an area that is very interesting. Location: the hotel was near to an alternative cafe as well as the Gili Islands. The rooms were romantic and neat, equipped with air conditioning, a lounge, and Wi-Fi

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming bungalow in Ubud. The spacious terrace and inviting pool at Gajah Biru were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The nearby shop had everything I needed, and the spa delivered the most incredible massage in town. The location was just right - close to attractions but with a serene atmosphere. While there were a few minor issues with the AC and window, the friendly staff quickly addressed them. The value for money was unbeatable, and I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful getaway. I had an amazing experience and would gladly return in the future.

Handmade plaque with name, wonderful and gracious people, hard working staff, mostly private rooms, relaxing pool, gazebo and gardens.
Nothing, all excellent.

We loved the serene gardens with quirky art, the perfectly kept swimming pools with toys provided, and the private terrace with our own fish pond. The staff were so friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay as perfect as it could possibly be. Ordering breakfast the day before to be delivered to our private breakfast area at a time of our choosing was a great touch.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This place was amazing! The rooms were spacious and had their own little sitting areas. The pool area was lovely to relax in and the gardens were beautiful. I also enjoyed the great breakfast with multiple options to choose from. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to town and near some cool restaurants and shops.
The shower could have had a bit more pressure and the curtains could have been cleaned better. However, these were minor issues compared to the overall great experience.

The hotel is located in a vibrant area with lots of shops and restaurants just outside. It's a short walk to many of the city's main attractions and is very close to everything. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was not up to par and didn't offer much variety.

What a gem of a place! the staff were absolutely fantastic, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make us feel welcome. the setting was truly stunning, with lush greenery and a beautifully decorated pool that made for the perfect oasis to relax in. Plus, the rooms were spacious and luxurious with comfy beds and plenty of amenities. We also loved how easy it was to explore the surrounding area, with lots of local shops and transportation options right on our doorstep.
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike at all. If we had to nitpick, we would say that the Wi-Fi signal could have been stronger in certain areas of the hotel.
